Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Textile, Apparel, and Furnishings Workers to join our enthusiastic team. This role involves setting up and adjusting rollers on machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality textile products.

Responsibilities

• Operate textile machinery in compliance with company standards.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product specifications.
• Document machinery issues and work with maintenance teams.
• Collaborate on production strategy and workflow improvements.
• Assist in the training of junior staff members on best practices.
• Keep workspaces organized and equipment in good condition.
• Engage in problem-solving activities to enhance production efficiency.
• Participate in safety training and promote workplace safety.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding production progress.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Technical or mechanical certification is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in textile manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of production processes
• Safety standards compliance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in training or mentoring: Ability to train new employees on machinery operation.
