Job Description

As a Critical Power Install Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical power systems in critical environments. Your role will involve troubleshooting, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring that systems operate at maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Execute site assessments and surveys to evaluate power infrastructure.
  • Install UPS systems, generators, and backup batteries.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on critical power systems.
  • Identify technical problems with systems and develop solutions quickly.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines and requirements.

Requirements

Education
  • Trade qualification in electrical engineering
  • National Diploma or BSc in Electrical Engineering preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in critical power installation or maintenance
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of power monitoring software
  • Ability to program in C++ and Python
Soft Skills
  • Team collaboration

Certifications
  • Project management certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
