Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon at Veterinary Care Associates, you will provide high-quality medical and surgical care to a variety of animals. Your responsibilities will include conducting exams, implementing treatment plans, and educating pet owners on health and wellness. Responsibilities

• Manage and perform major and minor surgeries on various animal species.
• Facilitate client communication regarding treatment options and costs.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest veterinary practices and treatments.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and their pets.
• Create treatment plans based on individual animal needs.
• Support administrative tasks, including client follow-ups and scheduling.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary medicine is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting
