We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in protecting our clients’ information systems and data by implementing robust security measures and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize potential security risks across various systems.
• Implement comprehensive security frameworks tailored to client needs.
• Assist clients in regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Lead incident response efforts and post-incident analysis.
• Develop strategies for disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system security.
• Mentor junior staff on cybersecurity best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies.
• Prepare security documentation for audits and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related discipline
• Advanced certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP) are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in cybersecurity consulting or a related field

• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security
