Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will dispense medications, counsel patients on the appropriate use of prescriptions, and provide healthcare advice to enhance patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for the pharmacy profession.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze patient medication needs and recommend appropriate therapies.
  • Conduct medication reconciliation and review processes.
  • Develop patient-specific education plans for medication use.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to improve patient outcomes.
  • Oversee pharmacy compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Provide feedback to improve pharmacy practices and procedures.
  • Manage prescription requests and ensure timely processing.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Honours degree in Pharmacy is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a pharmacist
