Electrical Engineer

Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of engineering projects in Cape Town. Your responsibilities will include project management, electrical system design, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet both client and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design activities for various projects.
• Conduct simulations and testing of systems to ensure efficiency.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
• Substantiate designs with appropriate calculations and simulations.
• Ensure all engineering designs meet regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to procure materials and services.
• Review project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Identify potential project issues and proactively devise solutions.
• Engage in research to improve current practices and methodologies.
• Participate in project review meetings to ensure good communication.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering and project management

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
