Fraud Analyst - Johannesburg - Auditing

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Fraud Analyst to join our dynamic auditing team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of fraud detection techniques and compliance protocols to help identify and mitigate potential risks.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial transactions for signs of fraud.
• Conduct interviews with employees and external parties as necessary.
• Work closely with law enforcement during fraud investigations.
• Support the implementation of anti-fraud technologies.
• Report directly to the Audit Manager on findings and progress.
• Evaluate employee adherence to policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development of fraud risk assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in fraud analysis or forensic accounting

• CPA or CA qualification
