Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee our logistical operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of supply chain management, logistics processes, and will be adept at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics projects aimed at reducing operational costs.
• Ensure effective warehousing and inventory management strategies.
• Plan and execute transportation logistics to optimize fleet utilization.
• Collaborate with IT to improve logistics software systems.
• Manage and resolve logistical challenges efficiently.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations.
• Review and improve logistics processes for efficiency.
• Coordinate international shipments and customs clearance activities.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on logistics best practices.
• Participate in vendor selection and performance evaluations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
