Job Description

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet operations in Durban. You will be responsible for managing vehicle maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing fleet performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of fleet management principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day fleet operations.
• Analyze fleet data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Manage logistics and route planning for efficiency.
• Ensure all vehicles are compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with insurance providers regarding fleet policies.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and facilitate training.
• Maintain communication with key stakeholders regarding fleet matters.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics Management or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in fleet operations

Technical Skills

• Cost Management
• Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge

Languages

• Zulu: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
