Pharmacist

Job Description

As a Pharmacist in our Johannesburg location, you will play a key role in medication management and patient education. Ideal candidates will thrive in a collaborative setting and have a passion for guiding patients in their health journeys.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prescriptions are accurately processed and dispensed.
• Conduct consultations with patients to address medication concerns.
• Evaluate and optimize medication therapy regimens.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage patient records and confidentiality according to legal requirements.
• Develop and implement patient safety protocols.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to pharmacy interns.
• Establish strong relationships with community healthcare providers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Pharmacy preferred

Experience

• At least 2-3 years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy

• English: Fluent
