Job Description

As a Mental Health Counselor at Mental Health Services Ltd., you will engage with clients to provide therapeutic support, assess their needs, and implement effective treatment strategies, aiming to enhance overall mental well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to clients in various settings, including one-on-one and community groups.
  • Engage in active listening and empathetic communication with clients.
  • Facilitate support groups to encourage peer support and shared experiences.
  • Participate in community initiatives aimed at destigmatizing mental health issues.
  • Monitor and document client progress and outcomes regularly.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health issues and available resources.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive support.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mental health counseling or therapy
