Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our dedicated team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing patients with the highest standard of pharmaceutical care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and offer advice on prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Monitor patient health and progress to ensure medication therapy is effective.
• Educate patients on health and wellness topics.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Participate in staff training and development programs.
• Assist in inventory management and pharmacy operations.
• Implement quality assurance measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Pharmaceutical Knowledge
• Patient Counseling

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist certification
• CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
