Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, and extractions. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, utilizing the latest technologies and treatment methodologies to optimize patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine dental examinations and create treatment plans.
  • Administer anaesthesia and manage patient pain.
  • Conduct fillings, extractions, and crown preparations.
  • Educate patients on oral health and preventive care.
  • Utilize CAR technology and modern dental tools.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a dental practice required.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in dental procedures
  • Familiarity with dental software
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Empathy and compassion
Certifications
  • CPR and First Aid certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Additional certifications in cosmetic dentistry: Preferred but not essential, knowledge of advanced cosmetic techniques.
