Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' movement and functional abilities.
• Create evidence-based treatment plans to guide therapy efforts.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to enhance recovery.
• Evaluate and document treatment outcomes and patient feedback.
• Assist in developing patient education materials.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities.
• Participate in community outreach programs and health fairs.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages patient motivation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Additional certifications in specialized therapies are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in outpatient rehabilitation

Technical Skills

• Orthopaedic Rehabilitation
• Neurological Rehabilitation

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Registered Physiotherapist (SA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in occupational health: Knowledge in occupational therapy principles to aid work-related injuries.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices: Experience providing therapy via virtual platforms.
