We are seeking a General Practitioner to join our Bloemfontein practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients across a range of medical issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and develop treatment strategies.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their health issues.
• Be proactive in patient education concerning lifestyle changes.
• Utilize electronic health records for documentation and patient management.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Further qualifications in pediatrics or emergency medicine would be advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a private practice setting is preferred

Technical Skills

• Health Education
• Chronic Disease Management

Soft Skills

• Collaboration
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR): Familiarity with using EHR for patient management.
• Participation in community outreach programs: Experience in health education initiatives in the community.
