Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Construction Manager to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project strategies that meet customer needs.
  • Assess project risks and develop mitigation plans to handle potential setbacks.
  • Review and approve project plans, budgets, and timelines before implementation.
  • Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Actively participate in post-project evaluations to collect feedback and enhance future operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Advanced degree in Construction Management is an asset
Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in construction management
