Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Cape Town to manage multiple projects efficiently. The successful candidate will coordinate between contractors, clients, and stakeholders while maintaining our commitment to quality and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and milestones.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
• Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to encourage collaboration.
• Track project expenditures and analyze cost variances.
• Ensure sustainability practices are integrated into project processes.
• Participate in post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop project schedules using project management software.
• Report directly to the Director of Construction on project outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Professional Certifications like PMP or similar are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry
