Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Durban pharmacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on the proper use of medications, and working alongside healthcare personnel to ensure optimal patient health. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards.
• Evaluate and interpret prescription orders.
• Provide patient counseling and health screenings as needed.
• Conduct medication therapy management.
• Develop and implement health promotion programs within the community.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Respond to medication-related inquiries from patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements

Education

• Pharm.D. from an accredited institution
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

• Medication Management

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous
