Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Pharmacist to join our Durban pharmacy team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in patient care by dispensing medications, advising patients on their proper use, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our community.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate medication therapy management services.
  • Conduct training and mentorship for junior staff.
  • Actively engage in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Advocate for patient health and wellness within the community.
  • Utilize technology for patient care and pharmacy operations.
  • Prepare reports on pharmacy activities and medication usage.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Additional certifications will be an advantage
Experience
  • 2-4 years of pharmacy experience preferred
