Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in Johannesburg. You'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, assessing and administering medications, and providing support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop individual care plans for patients.
• Support patients with daily living activities as needed.
• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Document all care provided and report any concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team goals.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in nursing practice.
• Promote health education and preventive measures.
• Maintain knowledge of current nursing practices and advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Specialised nursing certification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital setting

Certifications

• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE)
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)

Languages

• English: Fluent
