You will be responsible for medication management, patient counseling, and collaborating with healthcare providers to develop treatment plans. Responsibilities

• Conduct medication therapy management to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in developing clinical protocols and policies for the pharmacy.
• Actively participate in training and mentoring pharmacy interns.
• Respond appropriately to pharmaceutical inquiries from patients and staff.
• Keep abreast of new pharmaceuticals and updates in the healthcare field.
• Utilize electronic health records for documentation and patient interaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Additional certifications in Health Management are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of related experience, preferably in a retail pharmacy

Certifications

• Pharmacy Board Certification
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively with Afrikaans-speaking patients.
