Back Hoe Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a Back Hoe Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a backhoe to excavate, level, and grade construction sites and perform other related duties.

Responsibilities

• Excavate trenches, foundations, and other structures using backhoe machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues.
• Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
• Keep equipment clean and maintained to prevent downtime.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to site safety improvements.
• Assist with logistical support for material delivery and excavation needs.
• Demonstrate safe driving skills when transporting equipment on site.
• Operate additional heavy machinery as required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work cooperatively with others.
• Contribute towards resolving site-based issues efficiently.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in heavy equipment operation

Experience

• Experience in other heavy machinery operation is advantageous.

• Heavy Equipment Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
