Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager in Cape Town to oversee and lead projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project plans, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery while meeting quality standards. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify project requirements and ensure they align with business goals. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Draft and maintain project scope statements and work breakdown structures.
• Assess project performance and provide actionable insights.
• Negotiate project contracts with clients and suppliers.
• Oversee team performance and provide necessary coaching.
• Develop and implement project-specific methodologies.
• Utilize project management software to track progress and performance.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation match project needs.
• Conduct regular team performance reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• Master's degree in Project Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive project management experience

Certifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
