Job Description

The Viscose Cellar Charge Hand will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the viscosing process and the production of high-quality viscose fibers. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of the viscosing process and demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the viscosing operation and adjust parameters as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to implement repairs promptly.
• Document production activities and maintain compliance records.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage raw material deliveries.
• Assist in the training of new operators and ongoing development of existing staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports on production efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Manage waste disposal in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• National Diploma in Textile Technology or Chemical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
