Job Description

As a Mental Health Counselor in Cape Town, you'll provide crucial support to individuals facing mental health difficulties. Your role will involve assessing clients' needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and assisting clients in achieving their mental wellness goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients’ mental health statuses.
  • Develop and review treatment strategies with clients regularly.
  • Ensure ethical and culturally effective counseling practices.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness.
  • Contribute to program development and evaluation.
  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or Counselling
Experience
  • 3+ years in therapeutic settings preferred
