Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations of all insurance applications.
  • Make recommendations for policy terms and conditions based on risk assessment.
  • Engage with clients regularly to nurture relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare documentation and present recommendations to management.
  • Stay current with industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Evaluate reinsurance needs and carry out necessary arrangements.
  • Conduct training and workshops on underwriting processes for team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Insurance or related fields are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in underwriting or related experience in the insurance sector
