Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our operations in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the design, development, and execution of civil engineering projects. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
• Optimize designs to enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Ensure project documentation is up to date and accurately reflects project status.
• Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering projects

Technical Skills

• MicroStation
• Environmental Engineering

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Environmental Management: Understanding of environmental policies and sustainability practices.
• Experience with LEED Certification Projects: Experience managing projects aiming for LEED certification.
