Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Social Worker who can provide support and advocacy for our community members in Cape Town. You will assist clients in connecting with resources and services that can improve their circumstances. Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze client needs and develop action plans.
• Deliver direct support and crisis intervention services.
• Collaborate with healthcare and community service providers.
• Organize community events to raise awareness and educate the public.
• Advocate for resource allocation and policy changes impacting clients.
• Document all interactions and consistently update case files.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and client outcomes.
• Network with local agencies to ensure client support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in social work or related field

Technical Skills

• Crisis intervention

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
