We're on the lookout for a skilled Tax Consultant to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of local tax legislation and experience in providing expert advice to clients. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and optimizing tax liabilities for our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax documentation and filings accurately and timely.
• Advise clients on financial planning related to tax implications.
• Work closely with clients to resolve any tax discrepancies.
• Conduct risk assessments on tax practices.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and communicate implications to clients.
• Assist in training sessions for clients regarding tax responsibilities.
• Gather and analyze data to support tax decisions.
• Foster a client-focused culture by maintaining high service standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation is desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax consultancy or compliance
