Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. You will be involved in designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural analysis and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise construction activities to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Participate in community engagement sessions related to projects.
  • Develop maintenance plans for constructed infrastructure.
  • Perform structural analysis and load calculations.
  • Prepare cost estimates and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in infrastructure projects
