Construction Project Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Supervisor to oversee construction sites in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and schedules for construction activities.
• Ensure all project safety measures and health regulations are adhered to.
• Evaluate contractors’ performance and compliance with specifications.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment for construction.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with all stakeholders involved in the projects.
• Monitor and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget constraints.
• Act as a mentor to junior team members to develop their skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Higher certificates in Project Management are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supervising construction projects
