Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Taxation Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, advising clients on tax strategies, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting related to taxation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
• Advise on tax implications of business transactions.
• Conduct thorough reviews of tax compliance processes.
• Assist with tax audits and resolving issues with tax authorities.
• Implement tax-saving strategies for clients.
• Provide thought leadership on tax issues impacting the business environment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current taxation issues and trends.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide expert guidance.
• Generate tax documentation and maintain accurate tax records.
• Assist with the training of junior staff members on taxation matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation would be an asset

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax advisory roles

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Bilingual in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
