Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Dental Technician to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating dental appliances and assisting in clinical procedures, ensuring high standards of care are met.

Responsibilities

• Design and create orthodontic appliances as required.
• Implement new techniques and materials for better patient outcomes.
• Assist in quality control measures for fabricated items.
• Train junior staff on best practices and new developments in dental technology.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Dental Technology or related field is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working as a dental technician.

Technical Skills

• 3D Printing for Dental Applications
• Dental Impressions and Molding

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time Management

Certifications

• Registered Dental Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with patient interaction: Comfortable in a patient-facing environment to assist in consultations.
• Exposure to dental laboratory management systems: Familiarity with software used for lab management and record-keeping.
