As an Environmental Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to protecting the environment in Cape Town. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, designing environmental projects, and working closely with government agencies and stakeholders to promote sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects related to environmental research and compliance.
• Advise on best practices for environmental management.
• Support the team in developing innovation in green technologies.
• Coordinate with project managers for resource allocation and timelines.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing environmental programs.
• Provide training and support to staff on environmental awareness.
• Engage with the local community on sustainability initiatives.
• Contribute to grant applications for environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or engineering

Technical Skills

• Environmental Modeling Software
• GIS Technology

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
