Job Description

We are seeking a talented Pet Groomer to join our vibrant team in Durban. As a Groomer, you will be responsible for bathing, cutting, and styling our client's beloved pets while ensuring their comfort and safety. A love for animals and previous grooming experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming tasks with precision and care.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation protocols are followed.
• Keep an accurate record of grooming services provided to pets.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to meet their needs.
• Assist in training junior staff and apprentices.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Promote the grooming services and products offered by the company.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest grooming trends and techniques.
• Handle billing and payment transactions as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pet Grooming Certification preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years of grooming experience, preferably in a salon setting

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid for Pets
