Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Architect in Johannesburg, where you will work on a variety of projects, from modern residential homes to urban commercial developments. The ideal candidate should be adept in creative conceptualization and technical drawing, with the ability to balance aesthetics with functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Draft and revise architectural plans and models.
  • Evaluate project feasibility and constraints.
  • Ensure sustainable design practices are integrated into projects.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
  • Collaborate with marketing on project promotions and exhibitions.
  • Train and mentor junior team members.
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Interface with government agencies for necessary permits.
  • Assist with post-occupancy evaluations of completed projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
  • Master's degree in Architecture preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an architectural firm
