Job Description

As the Student Services Director, you will oversee all aspects of student services, including academic advising, career services, and student life programs. This role requires collaboration with faculty and staff to enhance the overall student experience, ensuring every student receives the support they need.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to develop and improve student support services, enhancing overall satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders to facilitate student internships and job placements.
  • Evaluate and implement new student services technologies to streamline operations.
  • Create programs to support the mental health and well-being of students.
  • Organize workshops and training sessions focused on student development.
  • Foster community engagement and partnerships to enrich student experiences.
  • Support international students by providing tailored services and advice.
  • Facilitate student organizations and leadership development opportunities.
  • Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives within the student services realm.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or related field
  • Master's degree in Student Affairs or related field preferred
Experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in student services, with 5 years in a leadership role
