Database Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a Database Architect to develop and implement our organization's enterprise data architecture framework. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in data modeling, governance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive data management strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor and enhance the performance of existing database systems.
• Conduct data modeling and analysis to support data-driven projects.
• Facilitate data governance processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with IT teams for smooth integration of data systems.
• Generate reports to identify trends and insights for decision-making.
• Mentor junior data management staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Professional certification in Enterprise Architecture, Data Management, or Data Governance (e.g. TOGAF, DAMA, CDMP) is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design
