Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Customer Success Manager to join our vibrant team in Durban. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients' satisfaction and success through targeted support and engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer relations, with proven experience in managing client accounts and fostering relationships. You will be responsible for developing strategies that enhance customer loyalty and retention, while also identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling within our services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire client journey from onboarding to ongoing support.
  • Maintain an organized approach to managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Work closely with the product team to communicate customer needs.
  • Analyze customer interaction data to provide actionable insights.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for clients, addressing their unique requirements.
  • Implement customer feedback loops to ensure their voices are heard.
  • Conduct training sessions on product updates and new features.
  • Capture and share client success stories to showcase value.
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure customer messages are aligned.
  • Be proactive in seeking ways to improve the customer experience.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • MBA is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in customer success or service roles
Technical Skills
  • Project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello)
  • Analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics)
Soft Skills
  • Negotiation

Languages

  • Afrikaans: Basic
