General Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a General Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various engineering disciplines and will be instrumental in designing and implementing solutions tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering project deliverables from conception to completion.
• Develop strategies to enhance collaboration among engineering teams.
• Document and implement best practices for engineering processes.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineering staff.
• Manage project budgets and resources efficiently.
• Engage with clients to clarify project specifications and expectations.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and resolve challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Engineering Analysis
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Soft Skills

• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• Afrikaans: Fluent
• English: Fluent

Advantageous
