Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies and automation tools, focusing on enhancing our infrastructure and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud infrastructure and ensure it meets the business needs.
• Drive automation initiatives across environments for consistency.
• Facilitate container orchestration using tools like Kubernetes.
• Ensure high availability and performance of applications.
• Work on disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Train junior staff on DevOps best practices.
• Prepare regular reports on system performance and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in DevOps methodologies

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role
