Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Penetration Tester to join our Port Elizabeth team. As a vital part of our cybersecurity efforts, you will be responsible for identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in our systems to ensure robust security measures are in place.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement penetration testing strategies.
• Utilize various tools and techniques to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in incident response efforts and investigations.
• Collaborate on security awareness initiatives and training programs.
• Contribute to the crafting of security policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Cybersecurity is an advantage

Experience

• 5 or more years in penetration testing with demonstrable skills

Technical Skills

• Advanced Scripting
• Threat Modelling

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Project Management

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CISO-level reports: Ability to develop reports that can be presented to the CISO.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks: Familiarity with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
