Job Description

Join our dedicated team in Durban as a pharmacist, where you will provide vital pharmaceutical services, counsel patients on medication therapies, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescription orders for accuracy.
• Advise on the selection of appropriate over-the-counter medications.
• Engage patients in discussions regarding adherence to medication plans.
• Lead educational sessions for patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Perform drug utilization reviews and monitor patient safety.
• Develop strategies to promote the safe use of medications.
• Evaluate and implement new pharmacy technologies and systems.
• Participate in pharmacy-related research and clinical trials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in retail or clinical pharmacy
