Job Description

The Aircraft Structures and Surfaces Assembler will be responsible for assembling and installing all components related to aircraft structures and surfaces. This role is crucial in ensuring that our aircraft meet the industry's safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair aircraft structures and surfaces.
• Perform routine maintenance on aircraft surfaces.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure quality output.

Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent
• Relevant technical qualification (e.g., N3 - N6, Trade Certificate)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in aircraft assembly and installation

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Hand-eye coordination
• Technical drawing interpretation
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and electrical systems

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Hands-on experience with computer-aided design software for aircraft components.
