Job Description

As a Window Caser, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and fitting glass windows and doors within various buildings. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of glass specifications.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and cut glass frames.
• Install glass doors and windows with precision.
• Perform maintenance on existing installations.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Discuss job timelines and progress with clients and supervisors.
• Work in collaboration with other contractors and tradespeople.
• Conduct quality checks on the finished products.
• Record installation data accurately.
• Keep the worksite clean and orderly.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Relevant qualifications in construction or glass fitting are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the glazing or construction industry

Technical Skills

• Glass handling
• Installation tool proficiency

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Customer service

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
