Job Description

We are in search of a talented Structural Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and analyzing structures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while working collaboratively with architects and contractors to deliver seamless project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the structural integrity of buildings and infrastructure.
  • Design and implement innovative structural solutions.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project success.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to plans.
  • Provide ongoing support and expertise during the construction phase.
  • Prepare progress reports for the management team.
  • Engage with local authorities for approvals and permits.
  • Attend professional development workshops to enhance skills.
  • Establish standards for structural calculations and reports.
  • Utilize advanced technology for structural analysis and design.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer registration preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis
