Photonics Technician

Job Description

As a Photonics Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced laser and electro-optical systems. We're looking for someone who is proactive and skilled in problem-solving to join our team and contribute to our innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of laser systems.
• Calibrate equipment and perform regular preventative maintenance checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system faults efficiently.
• Collaborate in testing and designing new photonics solutions.
• Support staff with technical training and system usage.
• Ensure all operations comply with safety standards.
• Document maintenance activities and system performance reports.
• Manage inventory of tools and replacement parts.
• Assist in the development of new operating procedures as required.
