Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our supply chain processes, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing logistics operations to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select logistics partners and service providers.
• Implement supply chain solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Resolve any logistical discrepancies or issues that arise during the shipping process.
• Monitor and manage logistics budgets and expenditures.
• Support the team in continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is preferable

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the logistics sector

• Shipping and Receiving
• Cost Negotiation

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in Freight Forwarding: Background in freight forwarding and shipping logistics.
• Certifications in Supply Chain Management: Relevant certifications such as APICS or similar are a plus.
