Job Description

Join us as a Social Worker in East London, where you'll be responsible for supporting individuals and families facing various challenges. You'll work collaboratively with community partners to deliver holistic care, ensuring all clients have access to necessary resources and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address psychological, social, and environmental issues affecting clients.
• Create and execute individualised support plans based on client assessments.
• Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when required.
• Collaborate with other health and social care professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Help clients navigate paperwork and access social welfare programs.
• Conduct home visits to evaluate clients’ living conditions.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
• Network with local resources and services to benefit clients.
• Document and report on client progress and needs.
• Support the training and supervision of interns and new social workers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Master's degree in Social Work is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a social work setting
