We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be involved in automating the deployment processes, improving system reliability, and collaborating with developers to enhance the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build automated deployment solutions.
• Enhance the stability and security of the system environment.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate their solutions into the production environment.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the deployment process.
• Educate team members on best practices for DevOps.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Assist in capacity planning and system scaling.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Ansible

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environment.
